Turn by Turn Voice directions just like Garmin or Tom Tom
I think the first iPhone should have the same features as the iPhon3g we paid the same amount of money so we should have the same exact features think u for listening
THis is a must, as without it, the feature is a safety hazard

Voice turn should be enabled during use of ipod
there should be a feature, where as a number is calling in, you can tap an "add to block list" button. So as telemarketing calls or people you don't want to talk to anymore call in, you can TAP, and and them to a block list (that preferrably just disconnects them, doesn't even send em to voicemail) or they get a message that says this subscriber is not accepting calls at this time.

Come 'on apple!! i feel bambozzled! sprint's version of the iphone has turn by turn gps..i stood in like and paid $400plus for the new iphone because i thought it would have turn by turn gps since this phone is suppose to be the best...but ahhh yea its not the best :-(

YES, PLEASE! I live and die by GPS, and I justified the iPhone purchase BECAUSE of the GPS ability.
_Sound an alert and voice prompt for next-turn 1/2 mile before turn and 0.2 miles before turn.
_Distance & minutes until next turn and until final destination.
_Compass direction you are currently traveling.
To me, these few extra GPS functions and displays are essential for the traveling person.
THE ADDITION OF THIS FEATURE, ALONG WITH OTHERS, WOULD CONVINCE ME TO UNJAILBREAK MY IPHONE

I Need Voice GPS
Okay so I just knew I was getting voice gps on this phone. No instead I get this crazy app that I have to go to the next screen to tell me when to make my next turn. Thank you for increasing my odds of getting into an accident becuase I am constantly looking down and trying to hit the arrow to see where I go next. Oh damn I think I just passed the street.

It's hard to believe as advanced as the iphon is it still lacks many of the most basic features of other phones.
I have to say that i regret i've chose to buy this phone. I had 3 choices HTC, TREO750 and Iphone. I did wrong, I've chose the last one. What can I say, it is a good looking gadget, but that's it just a good looking phone. I am gonna put it on sale and i will advise my friends not to do the same mistake that i did. iPhone SUCKS!

The GPS is there. Even if it isn't perfect, let the user decide if they want to run Tomtom on it or not.
I shall buy the iphone only when this becomes available.
This is a biggy, why would you stop short and not include this. Its almost like the #1 most obvious function of each feature was cut and everything else was kept.
