Allow cut and paste between applications
Please, it's about as useful as a brick with primitive markings on without this feature!
I know what's going on.... Steve is planing to charge 99c for each copy and another 99c for the paste... This seems the only logical explanation for this oversight...

Even the cheapest cell phones have copy and paste. It should definitely be included in the next software update.

No cut/paste, no multi-media SMS (MMS), no easy way to attach pictures to emails ... I thought I was moving ahead from my Palm Treo 680, yet it seems instead I moved BACKWARDS to a more difficult experience. The limitations are so un-Apple-like I simply cannot understand this.

If they had any idea how frustratinh it is when you cant use it as a simple storage device even for videos that arent in the iphone format, it's like they never thought someone might want to put some file simply to transfer it, regardless of wether it is supported by iphone or not!!!

I knew b4 buying that the iphone lacked copy cut paste but come on!!!! how many updates do we need to wait for before you give this basic functionality which could make big difference in every day use. Personally I think it's pathetic! ......but still like the phone though.

Huge flaw, as for such an amazing smartphone, its a shame that apple didnt include this feature.
Not having copy and paste is the ONE thing that has stopped me getting an iPhone so far.
I struggle with Nokia and Mac functionality (and a far less sexy phone) rather than lose this essential tool for my work.
Please its too useful to ignore! Those of us who write, blog, email etc on an iphone need it!
