I've had my 16GB iPhone 3G since July 11, and since that day i already had more than 10 complete freezes and had to made 4 Recoverys, loosing all data that i had in the phone.
It freezes opening apps, it freezes using apps, it freezes updating apps, it freezes even sincronizing with itunes.
Making a hard reset does nothing, it freezes on the apple logo and so it stays 4 ever.
It gets between 45 to 90 minutes to be able to get it recover from the freeze.
Let's talk about stability, Mr Jobs? here in Europe, everybody is VERY UNHAPPY with these never ending problems. We don't know how it works on US, but here we're not used to spend 610 euros (960 us dollars) on a Smartphone/PDA and to have this kind of bugs and problems. We are used to top quality and to be supported when we (rarely) have problems.
Think about it for a while.
