Allow the iPhone to act as a Bluetooth modem

Why enterprise device have too small BT capabilities ?
Wouldn't it be nice if we could use bluetooth the same way as all the other phones out there that have all those services built in? Yeah, it really would.

Would really like to be able to use this for traffic an weather on my TomTom.
I want to be able to use the phone as a modem otherwise I must keep a second contract just for 3g browsing via my PC
We don't even have ATT in this country! I thought this phone had modem features in it when I bought it - thats one of the factors that justified the buy. I don't use GPRS on the laptop enough to justify installing it but I need it enough that I have to have it. iPhone was the middle ground that was supposed to allow the occasional download of a spreadsheet into the laptop while traveling and justify the snazzy iPhone. Very disappointed, holding back on rest of staff until rectified.
My old phone allowed me to download traffic updates to my TomTom Rider. Is it that difficult to provide equivalent support to the iPhone? I seriously regret buying it now :-(
Inconcevable de nos jours alors que tous les autres le font...
I thought that iPhone does support all blueatooth profiles. If i knew that before i bought it i have never buy it.
Hopefully you(APPLE) only made a 2 year deal with AT&T, because the iPhone is totally capable of serving as a modem through Bluetooth Pan services. My cheapie Samsung T905 had full Bluetooth support, and it isn't even a 1/4 as powerful or functional as my iPhone.
This was something I expected of iPhone 3G! I pay a lot for a free data plan with no limitation in what traffic/hardware to use (operator: Swedish Telia) and expect to be able to use that also from my laptop when I'm on the run - without moving the sim card to another phone just for that reason. Turn on the DUN bluetooth profile - it's as easy as that.
Note that not everyone has AT&T. The world is a lot larger than just United States. Let the rest of us use this function even if AT&T prevents it.
Tired of resorting to WM6 for the job. Get with it.
Yes, my PPC-6700 and other Windows Mobile devices allow for USB or Bluetooth tethering, what gives apple?
Already pay $50 a month for home internet. Another $30 for the iPhone. I would live to just use one!
Again, we're having to petition apple for normal features that other mobiles have by default!
I need this. This is the biggest reason why i'm not buying a iPhone.
