App Store should not be allowed the monopoly of holding iPhone applications - its just another way that Apple are controlling truly innovative and useful applications being developed and distributed.
If you want monopoly, make sure the iTunes store is accessible and buy-able in every country with iPods and iPhones.
come out with some really good apps like guitar hero 3 for the phone only the people who jailbreak there phoines have the hottest appz on it why cant we get the same
Id like to be able to write my own applications independent of the app store.
As an open source developer myself... if you open the apps to just be approved by Apple it will even work -- but many of us will give away cool apps that we think are useful... just the way we are -- let everyone use our apps if they want.
