MAC OS X Leopard has the ability to transmit Stereo Bluetooth - so why not the iPhone?
A2DP really drains battery life, but so what... it's a simple software adaptation and we want it!! Devil's advocate: driving with stereo bluetooth headset = wreck-o-rama. Plus, bluetooth kinda sucks!

Please this would be such a nice addition... with-out some changes like stereo blue tooth and stuff I will be switching back to blackberry. I really like their usability, and user friendly versitility

This feature should certainly exist on a product marketed as an audio player
again I feel cheated that the iPhone doesn't have this functionality. This should've been declared to all people before they get an iPhone
How about letting us deleting songs and pictures from the phone, and not just movies as it is now? Unbelivable!!!
It´s a great product and a great phone, but you really need to wake up!
1. Enable Full Bluetooth Support.
2. Enable Deleting Of All Media Files From The Phone.
3. Photoediting.
4, Videorecording and editing.
You really need to get the shit done, Apple!

The iPhone also needs a iPhoto like app, it also needs a iMovie like app, it should also show up as a external drive on the desktop!

What the hell apple? you make a portable media device. It has a bluetooth chip YET YOU FORGET TO PUT IN THE MEDIA SECTION OF BLUETOOTH. WHAT THE HELL!!!
A2DP seems like such a no-brainer to me, music phone, no music? I ride a motorbike, bluetooth is the easiest way for me to get music in my helmet.

What can I say, it is a good looking gadget, but that's it just a good looking phone. I am gonna put it on sale and i will advise my friends not to do the same mistake that i did. iPhone SUCKS!

Please, Apple give us a break, we paid top dollar for something which is included on even the bass models of most mobile phones.

I already bought me a stereo headset before I found this one out. Apple should not be allowed to advertise the iPhone as supporting Bluetooth with this crippled package. I reckon they support 2 out of 25 profiles...
I hope the next apple conference Steve will come out in his white sneakers and black t-shirt and announce a few more of these AMAZiNG features we have all been waiting for. I'm sure the fans will go wild;-)
Absolutely useful to stream audio to my premium car audio system. If iphone is to be considered as a serious alternative to ipod, then this is a must.
Seriously, every bluetooth phone our there supports this but the iPhone, something tells me this is not a hardware limitation. I'm starting to think apple is just sitting on features so they can keep springing them up in each new release to keep the wow factor high.
This seems so easy -- if I'd have known the iPhone lacked this before buying it I would have seriously reconsidered
A2DP on an advanced phone should be part of the package. I get being different an all but that came with the interface. Now please put some traditional features in this phone.

This is marketed as an iPod with a phone. What good is a mono iPod, via Bluetooth headphones or car adapter?
